You will need to provide some important details regarding your trip, such as your expected date of arrival, the airline you are travelling with, and your flight number. You must also indicate your date of birth, your full name and the passport number of each traveller for whom you are applying for a visa.

Activate your visa

Once you have completed the application form and made the payment, you will receive an email notification about your visa after 3 days on average. On this notification you will see a numerical code which will allow you to activate your electronic visa for Cuba. Be aware though, that this numerical code is not the visa itself. The electronic visa will only be activated once you have filled in the D’Viajeros form.. All you need to do is click on the link you will receive by email. The numerical code will appear automatically on the D'Viajeros form. Your visa will only appear after you have completed the D'Viajeros form. This will be a PDF document containing a QR code and your visa number. Print this document and take it with you on your trip to Cuba. Cuban immigration officials will be able to use this document to verify that you hold a valid visa for Cuba.

How long can I stay in Cuba?

If you wish to stay longer, you can extend your visa for a further 90 days. This would bring the maximum permitted stay to 180 days. You can apply for this extension of your visa validity at an immigration office in Cuba. Please note that the visa for Cuba is a single-entry visa. This means that you can only travel to Cuba once with this visa. If you wish to leave Cuba temporarily and travel briefly to another country, you will need to apply for a new visa to re-enter Cuba.
